On May 19th, we held a lunch at the Barcelona Equestrian Circle, in which the topic “Affordable investment with profitability” was discussed.
The attendees were able to see first-hand the work that we carry out at RKS-AM as a comprehensive manager of real estate assets in non-prime areas with a social impact.
In addition, the results of the RKS Real Estate Fund and the capital increase that is being carried out by Ktesios SOCIMI were presented.
At Ktesios SOCIMI we have a unique strategy, with great potential and a clear social component, based inoffering investors high returns, but without forgetting the social factor, facilitating access to decent, quality housing, larger than what is found in large cities, green areas, infrastructures, schools, medical services, to working families, who, in other circumstances, could not afford it.
How do we do it? We invest at substantial discounts in residential real estate in towns far from the big cities, but with favourable microeconomies. The exploitation of these properties, with affordable rentals to obtain a long duration, high occupancy, and low turnover, offers us greater profitability than in prime areas. We, unlike the rest, buy the property in perpetuity for rent and we do not take into account the turnover of assets, but rather the returns are obtained from income from rentals, from recurring rents. Now, if there were real estate sales, they would be additional returns for the investor.
There is a key point, SOCIMIs were born with the aim of professionalizing the sector, giving access to all types of investors, not just high net worth investors. In addition, at Ktesios we take this commitment very seriously. Where we invest, we stimulate areas that in many cases are overlooked by institutional investors but have great potential. We have opted for this sector, and we remain firm with it.
